SpaceX launches SiriusXM's SXM-11 broadcast satellite

A SpaceX Falcon 9 lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral at 10:25 p.m. EDT on June 28 (0225 GMT June 29), deploying the roughly 15,000-pound SXM-11 satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit about 34.5 minutes later. The SiriusXM spacecraft is designed to boost signal strength, extend coverage into Alaska and eventually replace the aging XM-5 and Sirius FM-5 satellites. The first stage, booster B1085, landed on the droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas on its 17th flight.
