SpaceX stock hits record low, erasing $1 trillion from peak
SpaceX shares (SPCX) slid to a fresh low, closing at $115.26 on July 22, down about 6.7% on the day and roughly 25% over the past month. The retreat has wiped out around $1 trillion in market value since the company's mid-June peak, extending a rapid unwind of the euphoria that followed its record roughly $86 billion June debut. Investors have turned cautious ahead of an early-August lockup expiration tied to the company's first quarterly report, and amid a broader cooling in richly valued AI and tech names.
