SpaceX prices upsized $25B inaugural bond on $89B in orders

SpaceX priced its debut investment-grade bond offering at $25 billion on June 23, upsizing from an initial $20 billion target after demand topped roughly $89 billion in one of the largest-ever corporate debt sales. The five-tranche deal carries coupons ranging from 5.35% on notes due 2031 to 6.65% on notes due 2056 and was set to settle June 26, with proceeds going to repay a March 2026 bridge loan in full. The raise came barely two weeks after SpaceX's record IPO and amid a pullback in SPCX shares.
