Archer shareholders vote on move to reincorporate in Texas
Archer Aviation held its annual meeting on June 26, asking shareholders to approve redomesticating from Delaware to Texas by conversion, alongside director elections and an advisory pay vote. The eVTOL maker argues Texas offers a more business-friendly, code-based corporate law framework, growing operational ties through its planned Integration Pilot Program deployments, and roughly $250,000 a year in franchise-tax savings. The measure faced a high bar: it needed a majority of all outstanding shares, so abstentions and non-votes effectively counted against it.
