SpaceX signs $6.3B compute deal with Reflection AI
SpaceX signed a deal worth up to $6.3 billion under which open-source AI startup Reflection will rent capacity at SpaceX's Colossus 2 data center near Memphis, paying about $150 million per month from July 1 through 2029 for access to Nvidia GB300 chips. The agreement, disclosed June 22, deepens SpaceX's push to commercialize Colossus, following recent compute arrangements with Anthropic, Google and Cursor. Reflection said the capacity will accelerate its work on open-source AI models for government and national-security customers.
