Overview

Ultra-luxury full-size off-road SUV under BYD's premium Yangwang brand. Features four independent electric motors, a plug-in hybrid powertrain with over 1,100 hp, and the ability to float and propel itself on water.

In production since late 2023; the lineup was refreshed in March 2026 with BYD's next-generation Blade battery and a lower entry price, joined by a long-wheelbase, range-extended Yangwang U8L. Positioned as a luxury off-road flagship competing with the Mercedes G-Class and Range Rover.
