Overview

42 MW natural-gas turbine derived from the same core engine technology as Symphony, with about 80% hardware commonality. Superpower is designed for AI data centers and other onsite power applications, emphasizing waterless operation and strong output in hot, dry environments.

Boom revealed Superpower in December 2025 with Crusoe as launch customer for 29 turbines worth $1.25B+. Sprint core assembly is starting at the Colorado R&D supercenter in spring 2026 ahead of mid-2026 sprint core completion, a Q3 2026 sprint core test cycle, end-2026 assembly of a fully integrated 42 MW pre-production turbine, and operational readiness in H1 2027. First customer deliveries to Crusoe are targeted for 2027.
