Boeing delivers 171 jets in Q2, best first half since 2018

Boeing said on July 14 it delivered 171 commercial aircraft in the second quarter of 2026 - 129 737s, 25 787 Dreamliners, 10 767s and seven 777s - up from 143 in the first quarter, bringing first-half deliveries to 314, its strongest opening half since 2018 as 737 MAX output continues to recover. The planemaker also handed over 35 aircraft and systems from its Defense, Space & Security unit in the quarter, for 65 year-to-date. The delivery pace strengthens Boeing's cash generation as it heads into the Farnborough Airshow, where it is expected to book widebody orders from carriers including Etihad and Philippine Airlines.
