Tesla launches unsupervised Robotaxi service in Miami

Tesla launched its Robotaxi service in Miami on July 3, its first market outside Texas and California, running fully unsupervised rides with no safety driver from day one. The geofenced launch zone spans roughly 10 to 14 square miles of western Miami-Dade County - including West Miami, Doral and Coral Gables - and covers Miami International Airport but not downtown or Miami Beach. The service uses Model Y vehicles, as in Tesla's existing markets, with Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix and Las Vegas named as future targets.
