NIO's weekly China orders pull ahead of Tesla

A Deutsche Bank order tracker showed NIO logging about 14,500 orders in the latest week and 34,000 over two weeks - ahead of Tesla's 12,600 and 25,700 in China - with NIO's weekly orders up roughly 195% year over year, the strongest annual gain in the tracker. The momentum, reported June 26, leans on NIO's lower-priced Onvo and Firefly brands, though the automaker still needs roughly 43,000-48,000 June deliveries to meet its Q2 guidance. NIO separately reopened city bidding for its year-end Nio Day 2026 event.
