Boston Dynamics plans $100M Waltham robotics and AI center
Boston Dynamics said on June 24 it will invest about $100 million in a new advanced robotics and AI center, leasing a 323,000-square-foot facility at Reservoir Place in Waltham, Massachusetts. The project consolidates three nearby sites and is expected to create 1,250 new jobs by 2033, supported by a $25 million state Economic Development Incentive Program award, with phased move-in beginning in mid-2027. The expansion comes as Boston Dynamics ramps production of its all-electric Atlas humanoid following Hyundai's move to take full ownership of the company.
