Apple agrees to a 26 percent Taiwan App Store rate
Apple told developers on Oct. 29, 2026 that the standard commission on paid apps and in-app purchases for the Taiwan iOS and iPadOS App Store will fall from 30 percent to 26 percent on Oct. 31. Taiwan's Fair Trade Commission said on Oct. 30 that it accepted that commitment and that developers do not need to apply. The commission said it can resume the investigation if Apple does not carry out the commitment.
